General Information about CDP System Lowering Devices
The CDP System Lowering Device is a pole mount system with the raising and lowering cable and signal/power cable running inside the pole. Also available, are multiple arms per pole with different composite cables, and poles with a permanent mounted lowering tool in the base of the pole. The different part numbers are based on the pole tenon mount size, number of contacts, power cable type, and height. See example: CDP6-16HDDN-100-125-P
- CDP – Pole mount system with internal cable raceway.
- 6 – Outer diameter of pole top mounting tenon in inches.
- 16HD – Number of size #12 contacts
- DN – Type of Signal/power cable “D” CAT6 for IP and POE “N” 3-Conductor 14AWG.
- DD – Dual CAT6. (OTHER CABLES AVAILABLE)
- 100 – Raising and Lowering Cable Distance (Height of Camera from base of pole).
- 125 – Amount of Signal Cable (From disconnect unit to cabinet).
- Optional Powder Coat paint finish. Note RAL# or other paint # requested.
- P – Permanent mounted lowering tool inside the base of the pole (Consult Factory for details).
- G – Guy (Guide) Cable.
All contacts are copper with MIL SPEC nickel plating and 30 microinch gold plating over nickel. The gold plating passes the Industrial Mixed Flowing Gas test designated to create corrosion. Socket contacts have beryllium copper springs that assure constant contact with pins. Extension Cables with socket connectors, also available.
